1. Short title, extent and commencement (1) This act may be called the Uttar Pradesh Cinemas (Regulation) Act, 1955. (2) It shall extend to whole of Uttar Pradesh. (3) It shall come into force on such date as the State Government may, by notification in the Gazette, appoint.
