Section 1. Short title and commencement THE UTTAR PRADESH LAWS (EXTENSION TO TERRITORIES TRANSFERRED FROM BIHAR) ACT, 1976

1. (1) This Act may be called the Uttar Pradesh Laws (Extension to Territories Transferred from Bihar) Act, 1976.
(2) It shall be deemed to have come into force on October 15, 1976.
