2. Definition In this Act- (a) backward Classes means such classes of citizens as are defined in clause (b) of section 2 of the Uttar Pradesh Public Services (Reservation for Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and other Backward Classes) Act, 1994 as amended from time to time: (b)Commission means the State Commission for Backward Classes constituted under Section 3: (c) Member means a Member of the Commission and includes the Chairman: (d) Schedule means Schedule I to the Uttar Pradesh Public Services (Reservation for Schedule Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Classes)Act, 1994 as amended from time to time.
