Section 17. Effect of provision inconsistent with other enactments THE UNITED PROVINCES INDUSTRIAL DISPUTE ACT, 1947

17. Any rule or order made or deemed to be made under this Act shall have effect notwithstanding anything inconsistent therewith contained in any other enactment or in any instrument having effect by virtue of any other enactment.
