Section 33. Recovery of sums due to Committee as arrears of Land Revenue and power to write off Irrecove-rable dues

33. (1) Any amount due to the Committee, if not paid within the prescribed period, may be recovered as arrears of land revenue. (2) A Committee may write-off any amount due to it, if it is certified by the Collector to be irrecoverable; Provided that the amount exceeding Rs. Five thousand shall not be written off without the prior approval of the Managing Director.
