Section 25. The Academic Council

This Act was repealed on a date we do not have by the Uttarakhand Private Universities Act, 2023 (Uttarakhand Act 2 of 2024), s.72(1) and Schedule-I item 19; it may still apply to matters that began before then.
25. (1) The Academic Council shall consist of following members:- (a) the Vice-Chancellor—Chairman; (b) the Registrar –Secretary; (c) Such other members as may be prescribed in Statutes. (2) The Academic Council shall be the Principal Academic body of the University and shall, subject to the provisions of this Act, and the Statutes and the Rules made thereafter, co-ordinate and exercise general supervision over the academic policies of the University
