Section 54. Power to remove difficulties

This Act was repealed on a date we do not have by the Uttarakhand Private Universities Act, 2023 (Uttarakhand Act 2 of 2024), s.72(1) and Schedule-I item 19; it may still apply to matters that began before then.
54 (1) If any difficulty arises in giving effect to the provision of this Act, the State Government may, by a notification or order, make such provision, not inconsistent with the provisions of this Act, as appear to it to be necessary or expedient, for removing the difficulty: Provided that no notification or order under sub-section (1) shall be made after the expiration of a period of three years from the commencement of this Act. (2) Every order made under sub-section (1) shall, as soon as may be after it is made, be laid before the State legislative Assembly.
