THE IMS UNISON UNIVERSITY ACT, 2012

This Act was repealed on a date we do not have by the Uttarakhand Private Universities Act, 2023 (Uttarakhand Act 2 of 2024), s.72(1) and Schedule-I item 8; it may still apply to matters that began before then.

24. (1) The Finance Committee shall consist of, namely:- (a) the Vice-Chancellor - Chairman; (b) the Finance Officer - Secretary; (c) Principal Secretary/Secretary to the State Government of the Higher Education Department; (d) such other members as may be prescribed In the Statutes. (2) The Finance Committee shall be the principal financial body of the University to take care of financial matters and shall, subject to the provisions of this Act, Rules, Statutes, co-ordinate and exercise general supervision over the financial matters of the University. (3) The powers and functions of the Finance Committee shall be such as may be prescribed by the Statutes.
