Section 1. Sort title, extent and commencement

1. (1) This Act may be called the Intermediate Education Act, 1921. [(2) It shall extend3 to the whole of Uttar Pradesh.]4 (3) It shall come into force on such date1 as the [State Government]2 may, by notification in the [Official Gazette]3 direct.
