Section 38. Appointment of Compensation Officers

38. (1) The State Government may for purposes of this Act, appoint a Compensation Officer. (2) The Compensation Commissioner and the Assistant Compensation Commissioner for the region concerned appointed under section 319 of the U. P. Zamindari Abolition and Land Reforms Act, 1950, shall respectively be the Compensation Commissioner and the Assistant Compensation Commissioner for the Pargana.
