Section 115. Powers, functions and duties of officers and other servants of Zila Panchayats

115. (1) The powers, functions and duties of the officers and other employees of Zila Panchayats shall be such as may be provided by or under this Act, by or under any other enactment and by rules. (2) Subject to the provisions of sub-section (1) heads of departments of a Zila Panchayat in the case of officers and other servants working in their respective departments and the Chief Officer in the case of other officers and, employes may assign to them powers, functions and duties.
