Section 79. Insurance and Risk Allowance

79- (1) The State Government shall prescribe an Insurance Coverage for all police officers against injury, disability, or death caused while on duty. (2) The State Government may also prescribe an allowance for Police Officers, posted in special wings carrying aggravated risks, as per State Government rules.
