This Act was repealed on a date we do not have by the Uttarakhand Private Universities Act, 2023 (Uttarakhand Act 2 of 2024), s.72(1) and Schedule-I item 14; it may still apply to matters that began before then.

41 (1) The Trust shall create a permanent endowment fund of at least rupees five crores in the form of a Fixed Deposit of a Nationalized Bank pledged in the name of the State Government. (2) The University shall have the power to invest the permanent endowment fund in such manner as may be prescribed. (3) The University may transfer any amount from the general fund or the development fund to the permanent endowment fund. (4) Any amount exceeding the minimum amount specified in sub-section (1) may be withdrawn from the permanent endowment fund by the University for the purposes of development of the University.
