Section 5. Starting of the University

This Act was repealed on a date we do not have by the Uttarakhand Private Universities Act, 2023 (Uttarakhand Act 2 of 2024), s.72(1) and Schedule-I item 14; it may still apply to matters that began before then.
5 (1) The University shall start operation only after the State Government issues to the Trust a letter of authorization for the commencement of the functioning of the University. (2) The State Government shall issue the letter of authorization after verifying the proposal along with documents received from the Trust to the effect that all conditions referred to in section (4) have been fulfilled.
