This Act was repealed on 21 September 2001 by the Institutes of Technology (Amendment) Act, 2002 (Central Act 16 of 2002), s.7(1); it may still apply to matters that began before then.
1- (1) This Act may be called the Roorkee University Act, 1947. (2) It shall come into force on such dates3 as the [State Government]2 may by notification in the official, Gazette, appoint in this behalf.
