This Act was repealed on a date we do not have by the Uttarakhand Private Universities Act, 2023 (Uttarakhand Act 2 of 2024), s.72(1) and Schedule-I item 18; it may still apply to matters that began before then.
16 (1) The Registrar shall be appointed in such manner as may be prescribed in the Statutes. (2) The Registrar shall have the power to enter into agreements, sign documents and authenticate records on behalf of the University and shall exercise such other powers and perform such other functions as may be prescribed. (3) The Registrar shall be the ex-officio Secretary of the Executive Council and the Academic Council.
