Section 5. Starting of the University

This Act was repealed on a date we do not have by the Uttarakhand Private Universities Act, 2023 (Uttarakhand Act 2 of 2024), s.72(1) and Schedule-I item 18; it may still apply to matters that began before then.
5 (1) The University shall start operation after the State Government issues to the Society a letter of authorization for the commencement of the functioning of the University. (2) The State Government shall issue the letter of authorization after verifying the proposal along with documents received from the Society to the effect that all conditions referred to in section 4 have been fulfilled.
