THE SARDAR BHAGWAN SINGH UNIVERSITY ACT, 2016

This Act was repealed on a date we do not have by the Uttarakhand Private Universities Act, 2023 (Uttarakhand Act 2 of 2024), s.72(1) and Schedule-I item 18; it may still apply to matters that began before then.

8 (1) Admission to the different academic programmes shall be made in accordance with the laws for the time being in force. (2) The University shall ensure that the academic standards of the courses offered by the University are in accordance with the guidelines of the University Grants Commission, Medical Council of India, Dental Council of India, All India Council for Technical Education, National Council of Teacher Education, Bar Council of India, Pharmacy Council of India, Nursing Council of India etc as the case may be. (3) The teacher-student ratio shall be in accordance with the guidelines of the University Grants Commission or specific Council.
