Section 5. State not under any statutory obligation to grant Financial Assistance to the University

This Act was repealed on a date we do not have by the Uttarakhand Private Universities Act, 2023 (Uttarakhand Act 2 of 2024), s.72(1) and Schedule-I item 15; it may still apply to matters that began before then.
5. The University shall be self- financing and the State shall not be under any statutory obligation for providing any grant to the university established herein; Provided that the university shall be entitled to receive any such grant which may be granted under any special scheme of the State Government subject to the conditions of such grant. This shall not have any effect on the self-financing status of the University.
