23. The Assembly (court) shall be a advisory body and subject to the provision of this Act shall have following powers and functions, namely:- (a) to review from time to time the broad policies and programmes of the University, and to suggest measures for improvement and development of the University; (b) to consider and pass resolutions on the annual report and on audit report of the University; (c) to advise the State Government on such matters, which may be referred to it for advise; (d) to exercise such other powers and perform such other functions assigned to it by this Act or Statutes or State Government;
