This Act was repealed on a date we do not have by the Uttarakhand Private Universities Act, 2023 (Uttarakhand Act 2 of 2024), s.72(1) and Schedule-I item 10; it may still apply to matters that began before then.

5. The University shall be self-financing and the State shall not be under any Statutory obligation for providing any grant to the University established herein : Provided that the University shall be entitled to receive any such grant which may be granted under any special scheme of the State Government or any body or corporate owned or controlled by the State Government subject to the conditions of such grant. This shall not have any effect on the self financing statutes of the University.
