38. The provisions of sections 7 to 13 (inclusive) of the Northern India Canal and Drainage Act, 1873, shall be applicable as if they were enacted in this Act, in respect of compensation for any stoppage, diminution or damage of the description contemplated by the aforesaid sections and caused by the carrying out of any scheme under this Act.
