Section 111. Power of Zila Parishads to frame by-laws

This Act was repealed on a date we do not have by the Uttarakhand Panchayati Raj Act, 2016 (Uttarakhand Act 11 of 2016), s.194(1); it may still apply to matters that began before then.
111- The prescribed authority may and when required by the State Government, shall make by-laws for a [Gram Panchayat]4 within its jurisdiction consistent with the Act and the rules made thereunder for the purpose of promoting or maintaining the health, safety and convenience of persons residing within the jurisdiction of [Gram Panchayat]4 and for furtherance of administration of [Gram Panchayats]4 under this Act.
