Section 56. Transfer of cases by courts to Nyaya Panchayats

This Act was repealed on a date we do not have by the Uttarakhand Panchayati Raj Act, 2016 (Uttarakhand Act 11 of 2016), s.194(1); it may still apply to matters that began before then.
[56- A court if it finds that a case is triable by a Nyaya Panchayat shall except as provided in sub-section (4) of section 55 transfer the case to the Nyaya Panchayat of competent jurisdiction, which shall thereafter try the same de novo.]1
