Section 74. Concurrent jurisdiction

This Act was repealed on a date we do not have by the Uttarakhand Panchayati Raj Act, 2016 (Uttarakhand Act 11 of 2016), s.194(1); it may still apply to matters that began before then.
74- Where a [criminal or civil case]4 is maintainable in more than one Nyaya Panchayat, the [complainant or the plaintiff]5 as the case may be, may bring the compliment or the plaintiff in any one of such Nyaya Panchayat. Any dispute regarding jurisdiction shall be decided by the [Judicial Magistrate or the Munsif]6 having jurisdiction, as the case may be.
