81- Subject to the provisions of section 80 any party to a [Civil case or criminal case]6 may appear before a Nyaya Panchayt either in person or by such servant (not being a tout), partner, relation or friend [duly authorised in writing]1 by him as the Nyaya Panchayat may admit as a fit person to represent him : [Provided that no stamp duty shall be required to be paid for any power of attorney filed under this section.]2
