The University of Engineering and Technology Roorkee Act, 2020

This Act was repealed on a date we do not have by the Uttarakhand Private Universities Act, 2023 (Uttarakhand Act 2 of 2024), s.72(1) and Schedule-I item 20; it may still apply to matters that began before then.

24. (1) The Board of Management shall consist of following members:- (a) The Vice-Chancellor; (b) An officer amongst from the officers nominated in the Indian Institute of Technology/Indian Institute of Management/Indian Institute of Science/Institute of National Ayurveda nominated by the Chancellor; (c) Five Persons, nominated by the Sponsor Trust; (d) Two Professor of the University, by rotation on the basis of seniority for a period of one year; (e) Two Deans of the faculties nominated by the Chancellor; (f) Principal secretary/Secretary to the Government in the Higher Education Department or person nominated by him not below the rank of Joint Secretary to the State Government. The Vice-Chancellor and the Registrar shall be the Chairperson. (g) The Registrar shall be the Secretary of the Board of Management. (2) The powers and functions of the Board of Management shall be such as may be prescribed
