Short title and commencement

1. (1) This Act may be called the Uttar Pradesh Language (Bills and Acts) Act, 1950. (2) It shall be come into force at once.

Hindi to be used in Bills and Acts

2. The language for use in Bills introduced in, or Acts passed by, the Legislature of the State of Uttar Pradesh shall be Hindi in Devanagari script.
