Section 1. Short title and commencement

This Act was repealed on a date we do not have by the Uttarakhand Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017 (Uttarakhand Act 6 of 2017), s.174(1)(v); it may still apply to matters that began before then.
1. (1) This Act may be called the Uttar Pradesh Advertisements Tax Act 1981. (2) It shall come into force on such date as the State Government may, by notification, appoint in this behalf, and different dates may be so appointed for different provisions of this Act, or for different areas of the State.
