Section 1. Short title, extent and commencement

1. (1) This Act may be called the Uttar Pradesh Agricultural Credit Act, 1973. (2) It extends to the whole of Uttar Pradesh. (3) It shall come into force on such date as the State Government may by notifications2 in the Gazette, appoint in this behalf.
