Section 5. Functions of Board

5. The functions of the Board shall be- (a) to lay down policies for soil and water conservation; (b) to devise ways and means for co-ordinating the work under the plans and for eliminating the difficulties in relation thereto; (c) to scrutinize the progress made under the plans; and (d) to perform such other functions as may be specified by or under this Act.
