Section 28. No preceding under Chapter VIII of the Code of Criminal procedure, 1898 against child

28. Notwithstanding anything contained in the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1898 no proceedings shall be instituted and no order shall be passed against a child under Chapter VIII of the said Code.
