This Act was repealed on a date we do not have by the Chit Funds Act, 1982 (Central Act 40 of 1982), s.90(1); it may still apply to matters that began before then.
1. (1) This Act may be called the Uttar Pradesh Chit Funds Act, 1975. (2) It extends to the whole of Uttar Pradesh. (3) It shall come into force on such date as the State Government may, by notification in the Gazette, appoint in that behalf; and different dates may be appointed for different areas of the State and for different provisions of this Act.
