Section 4. Prohibition of invitation for subscription to chit of which by-laws have not been registered

This Act was repealed on a date we do not have by the Chit Funds Act, 1982 (Central Act 40 of 1982), s.90(1); it may still apply to matters that began before then.
4. No person shall issue or publish any notice, circular, prospectus or other document containing the terms and conditions of any chit or inviting the public to subscribe for tickets in any chit unless the same relates to a chit covered by the general bye-laws which have been registered under section 3.
