Section 1. Short title, extent and commencement

This Act was repealed on a date we do not have by the Uttarakhand Commission for Minorities Act, 2002 (Uttarakhand Act 9 of 2002), s.19; it may still apply to matters that began before then.
1. (1) This Act may be called the Uttar Pradesh Commission for Minorities Act, 1994. (2) It shall extend to the whole of Uttar Pradesh. (3) It shall come into force on such date as the Government may, by notification, appoint in this behalf.
