Section 19. Cognizance of offences

This Act was repealed on a date we do not have by the Uttarakhand Repealing Act, 2023 (Uttarakhand Act 27 of 2023), s.2 and Schedule item 53; it may still apply to matters that began before then.
19. No court shall take, cognizance of an offence specified in Section 18 except on a complaint in writing of the Chairman or a Member or of an officer authorized by the Commission in this behalf.
