This Act was repealed on a date we do not have by the Uttarakhand Shops and Establishments (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Act, 2017 (Uttarakhand Act 3 of 2018), s.30(1); it may still apply to matters that began before then.
16. No fines in excess of three per cent of the wages payable to an employee for any wage period shall be imposed on him by the employer.
