Section 20. Recovery of sums due to Committee as arrears of land revenue and power to write off irrecoverable dues

20. Recovery of sums due to Committee as arrears of land revenue and power to write off irrecoverable dues (1) Any amount due to the Committee, if not paid within the prescribed period, may be recovered as arrears of land revenue. (2) A Committee may write off any amount due to it, if it is certified by the Collector to he irrecoverable : Provided that no amount exceeding Rs.200 shall be written off without the prior approval of the Director.
