Section 28. Power of the Board to remove a member of the committee

28. Power of the Board to remove a member of the committee (1) [The Board]3 may remove a member, Chairman or Vice- Chairman of the Committee, where it is of the opinion that he- (a) has been guilty of misconduct or gross negligence of duly as such member, Chairman or Vice-Chairman; or (b) ceases to hold the qualifications necessary for his being a member, Chairman or Vice-Chairman. (2) No order of removal under sub-section (1) shall be passed unless the person concerned has been afforded reasonable opportunity of submitting an explanation in respect of the allegations against him.
