THE UTTAR PRADESH MUNICIPAL CORPORATION ACT, 1959

141- (1) On the written requisition of the State Government, or the Prescribed Authority the Mukhya, Nagar Adhikari may at any time undertake the execution or any work certified by the State Government or such authority, as the case may be, to be urgently required for a work, of public utility and for this purpose may make payments from the [Corporation]3 Fund so far as the same can be made without unduly interfering with the regular working of the [Corporation]3 administration. (2) On receipt of requisition under sub-section (1) the Mukhya Nagar Adhikari shall forth with forward a copy there of to the [Corporation]3 together with a report of the action taken by him thereon for its information. (3) The cost of all work executed under sub-section (1) and of the establishment engaged in executing the same shall be paid by the State Government and credited to the [Corporation]3 Fund.
