Section 313. State Government may extend provision of Chapter outside limits of city

313- The State Government may, by order which shall be published in the official Gazette, apply to any area to be specified in the order but not lying beyond a distance of two miles from the limits of the City, the provisions of any section in this Chapter and of rules made thereunder, subject to such adaptations whether by way of modification, addition or omission as it may deem to be necessary and expedient and thereupon, the provisions and rules 'so applied shall have effect in that area as if it were within the City.
