THE UTTAR PRADESH MUNICIPAL CORPORATION ACT, 1959

342- (1) The State Government may make rules to carry out the provisions of this Chapter. (2) Without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing power, such rules may provide for- (a) the manner of giving permission to the erection of buildings; (b) the manner of effecting repairs in and pulling down, securing and removing of dangerous buildings and recovery of expenses of such repairs, pulling down, securing or removal; (c) the restrictions under which alterations may be made in the use of buildings; (d) the inspection of newly constructed buildings; (e) the conditions on which loans' may be granted out of the [Corporation]1 Fund for building and the form of application for such loans.
