Section 416. re-opening of place for burial of the dead

416- (1) If, after personal inspection, the Mukhya Nagar Adhikari is of opinion that any place which bad been closed under the provisions of section 415 has, be lapse of time, become no longer injurious to health and may without risk or danger be again used for the said purpose, he may submit his opinion with the reasons therefor to the [Corporation]2, which shall forward the same, with its opinion for the consideration of the Stale Government. (2) Upon receipt of such opinion the State Government after such further enquiry as it deems fit to make, may, by notification in the official Gazette direct that such place be re-opened for the disposal of the dead.
