Section 419. State Govern-ment may extend provisions of chapter outside limits of City

419- The State Government may, by order which shall be published in the official Gazette apply to any area to be specified in the order but not lying beyond a distance of two miles from the limits of the City, the provisions of any section in this chapter and of rules made thereunder, subject to adaptations whether by way of modification, addition or omission, as it may deem to be necessary and expedient and thereupon they provisions and rules so applied shall have effect in that area as if it were within the City.
