Section 47. Failure of elections

47- (1) If at any election of Sabhasads [XXX]3 any seat remains unfilled, a fresh election shall be held to fill the vacancy. (2) For the purposes of conduct of election and ascertainment of the term of a Sabhasad [xxx]2 and election under sub-section (1) shall be deemed to be an election to fill a casual vacancy.
