Section 512. Recovery by attachment and sale of defaulter's immovable property

512- In the circumstances mentioned in sub-section (1) of section 507, the Mukhya Nagar Adhikari or the officer referred to in clause (b) of sub-section (l) of section 507, may in lieu of issuing a warrant for distress and sale of movable property or where such warrant has been issued but the amount recoverable has not been recovered in whole or part issue a warrant for the attachment and sale of the defaulter's immoveable property.
