Section 559. Supply of materials

559- On the written request of any person who is required under any of the provisions of this Act, or any rule, regulation or bye-law to supply any materials or fittings, the Mukhya Nagar Adhikari may, on such person's behalf, supply the necessary materials and fittings and cause the work to be done: Provided that, where the provisions of section 524 or 525 will not apply, a deposit shall first of all be made by the said person of a sum which will in the opinion of the Mukhya Nagar Adhikari, suffice to cover the cost of the said materials, fittings and work.
