Section 13. [Nomination in certain cases

This Act was repealed on 1 January 1996 by the Waqf Act, 1995 (Central Act 43 of 1995), s.112(3); it may still apply to matters that began before then.
13. 1[If any of the bodies referred to in clause (iii) of sub-section (1) of section 12]8 [does not exist or is unable or fails to return the requisite number of members]3 [within such time as may be specified by the State Government in that behalf]2 the deficiency shall be made good by nomination of a [Shia Muslim]9 by the State Government.]1
