Section 40. Government to pass orders on audit report

This Act was repealed on 1 January 1996 by the Waqf Act, 1995 (Central Act 43 of 1995), s.112(3); it may still apply to matters that began before then.
40. The auditors appointed under section 39 shall submit their report to State Government who shall examine the report and may call for the explanation of any person in regard to any matter mentioned therein, and shall pass such orders on the report as it thinks fit.
