THE UTTAR PRADESH MUSLIM WAQFS ACT, 1960

This Act was repealed on 1 January 1996 by the Waqf Act, 1995 (Central Act 43 of 1995), s.112(3); it may still apply to matters that began before then.

49. It shall be the duty of every mutawalli- (a) to carry out all directions, consistent wit h the provisions of this Act, issued to him by the Board or, with the previous approval of the Board, by the sub-committee constitutes under section 27 ; (b) to furnish such returns and supply such information or particulars as may from time to time be required by the Board or the sub-committee; (c) to allow inspection of waqf property, accounts or records or deeds and documents relating thereto; (d) to discharge all public dues; and (e) to do any other act which he is lawfully required to do by or under this Act.
